The project consists of a one-year experience of constant learning in an International Laboratory of Residui Teatro. A laboratory that has 20 years of labour and experience, with works that have been presented in more than 25 countries from Europe to Asia, Africa and Latin America.

We believe in theatre as a transformative tool that can transform ourselves on a personal level and in that way, also transform our society and communities.

Young people in practice improve and/or acquire skills for their personal, educational and professional development through a learning process that takes place in an intercultural and international creative environment supported by a non-formal education process.

The project accompanies the devising of practical activities, group experiences and practical-theoretical training; generating tools for the stage and for the developing of cultural projects also on a production and management level that will benefit the actor-dancer.

Tools needed to develop future theatrical work in individual or group projects from both, independent or institutional activities.

Some of the young people who participated at Residui Teatro’s internships in previous years are now active members of the project; others have developed their own artistic projects or are working in the sector.

The young people in practice will meet teachers, artists and different collectives from other theater schools and international entities with whom Residui Teatro has collaborated in its 20 years of trajectory.

Among these: Odin Teatret (Dinamarca), Grotowski Institute (Polonia), Darpana Academy (India), Parvathy Baul (India), Yuyackani (Perú), Contraelviento Teatro (Ecuador), Contadores de Mentira (Brasil), Cartaphilus Teatro (México), Labperm (Italia), Zid Theatre (Olanda), OmmaTheatre (Grecia), Casa India (España), Toscana Spettacolo (Italia)
