“Body in Flight” directed by Marta Ruíz(Adra Danza, Colombia)

The main objective is to work around the principles of movement in order to understand its nature: understanding and use of weight, pulse, directions, flow, without pre-determined choreographic structures, in relation to the concepts of time and space. Finally, we develop working with elastic, used as an extension of the body in space and as a tool for creative production.
The technique of the elastic body proposes a way of studying the movement itself, through listening to oneself. This study is mediated by different elastic dimensions that develop a permanent set of forces, addresses, impulses, and proprioceptive and emotional sensations. The workshop will seek concerns about the study of the body in motion, the kinetic sensations and the excitement of this game. The exploration proposes routes, of personal exploration in motion, that will discover the infinite expressive potentiality of the body
