La propuesta musical de esta edición de África Vive es, una vez más, ambiciosa. Este año contaremos con artistas de reconocido prestigio internacional y además, África Vive se une al Womad de Cáceres, al Festival de la Música de los Pueblos Territorios de Sevilla, al Festival Internacional de la Libertad de Expresión de Cádiz y al Festival Fuerteventura en Música, en un esfuerzo conjunto por acercar la música y cultura africanas al gran público.

La prestigiosa revista Metrópoli (del diario El Mundo) te recomienda no perderte el concierto previsto para la noche del 29 de mayo en el Campus Universitario de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) y cuya entrada es gratuita, y donde disfrutaremos de las actuaciones de:

*El emblemático Salif Keïta, de Mali
*El reggae de Alpha Blondy, de Côte d'Ivoire
*Sidy Samb, de Senegal
*La orquesta Konono nº1, de la República Democrática del Congo
*Don Bigg, de Marruecos (gracias a la colaboración de Casa Mediterráneo)
*DJ Africa Dance Set
*Este año también se sumarán al cartel de África Vive dos de los grupos premiados en el Dakar Vis-à-Vis, un encuentro celebrado el pasado mes de marzo en Senegal para poner en contacto a los programadores de festivales españoles con grupos africanos aún inéditos en España. Estos dos grupos son Da Brains y Njaaya.
